North Craven Historical Research Group

For over 20 years until 2016 this group, based at Settle, carried out project work on a wide range of historical themes and maintained an extensive archive of digitised historical material.

Following the winding up of the group in 2016 the archive material and equipment was passed to the keeping of the Dales Community Archives group who are progressively sorting, validating, cataloguing and uploading the material to this site.

Volunteers to help with this work are always welcome and if you would like to become involved then please do contact the DCA team at the address below.
