C17 house with major developments undertaken in 1700 and 1860 when an ancient inglenook and beehive oven were removed. Slobbered rubble construction with stone slate roof. Main entrance to the left of centre has carved lintel with the initials I F I and two flower heads, possibly daisies. A mixture of windows including mullions and C19 sashes. Calton Lodge was formerly known as Myrtle Cottage.
