Our Family History Project (FHP) is quite new and we are currently in the process of digitizing our information to present it in a searchable format on this website. This section is under active development
There is, firstly, a spreadsheet which eventually will hold all the names and what basic information we have.
Secondly, there is a series of narratives giving further information about individuals. Obviously, we can only put on what we know so there will be a lot of names on the spreadsheet with no associated narrative. If you can help to fill in any blanks, LPHG would be grateful to receive this information (ideally in a ‘copy & paste’ format).
Thirdly, there are plans of our 2 village graveyards.
This information can be downloaded and searched as wished. As our priority is to get all our information onto this website as soon as our volunteers can, we are sorry that we cannot help, at least at the moment, in helping visitors to this site with information we may or may not have.
The FHP would like to record its thanks to the LPHG committee and the following people (in alphabetical order) who have and are helping in this project: Mary Brierley, Ian Evans, Teena Feather, John & Sheila Goodall, Mel Ingram, Marion Kayley, Morgan O’Driscoll, Elizabeth and Steward Robertshaw, John Sellars and Mags Wood. Also our thanks to the Ribble Branch of the Lancashire Family History & Heraldry Society. Our apologies to anyone else who we have inadvertently omitted.
