A collection of miscellaneous documents, including the story of registering the village green as a Common, assembled by the people of Selside over the years. This material was collected and donated by Wilf Fenten; long term resident of Selside and Trustee of Friends of the Dales. Wilf was very involved with public life, serving as Chair of Selside Residents Association, Parish Councillor for Horton in Ribbledale and Member of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority. His archive gives an insight into the history of Selside, it’s buildings and community life
